Dr Andrew Whale (Livestock Logic, Hamilton VIC)

Andrew is a veterinarian based at Livestock Logic in Hamilton which is a part of Apiam Animal Health. He predominantly works as a sheep and beef consultant with producers in Vic, SA and NSW. Andrew focusses on a number of areas with clients utilising his skills in animal health, nutrition, financial benchmarking and animal management to improve whole farm performance and profitability.

Andrew breeds White Suffolks, sells a few hundred rams annually and runs a 4000 DSE livestock trading business under irrigation south of Hamilton. Andrew loves working with clients in a strategic manner, as a qualified vet he believes this is far more rewarding than fixing the animal health emergencies! He is enjoying the mix of working with clients and managing his own agricultural business.
